Delete your Local Living Project account

You can delete your Local Living Project account and the personal information tied to it at any time. Deleting your account is permanent and can’t be undone.

1. Open the Local Living Project app, or sign in at app.locallivingproject.com.
2. Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen.
3. Open the Account tab.
4. Under Security, tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and you’re signed out.

Email support@locallivingproject.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm by email once it’s done, within 30 days.

When you delete your account, we close it right away and delete:

• Your profile and sign-in details
• Saved addresses
• Favorites and saved businesses
• Reviews and ratings you’ve left
• Notifications
• App activity data

If you’re a Store Owner, we also remove your storefront, product listings and vendor application.

We keep a small amount of information after deletion, only for as long as we need it:

• Order and payment records: 7 years, for tax and accounting purposes and so completed orders can be settled with Store Owners.
• Records tied to an open refund, dispute or legal matter: until it’s resolved.
• Backups: deleted information may remain in our backups for up to 90 days, until they are overwritten.

Local Living Project never stores your payment card details. Payments and Store Owner payouts are handled by Stripe, which keeps its own records under the Stripe privacy policy.

Store Owners: if you have open orders, pending payouts or unresolved disputes, we may need to settle those before your account can be fully deleted.
