Visit locallivingproject.com or download the App and click "List Your Business." Fill out the application form with your business name, type, location, and contact information. Applications are typically reviewed within 1–2 business days. Once approved, you'll receive access to your Vendor Dashboard and a welcome message.
Yes. Our Standard Plan has no monthly fee. You only pay a 10% commission on orders that are actually completed — no cost to apply, no cost to list, no cost to maintain your storefront if no orders come in.
Locally owned businesses selling food products, artisan goods, and services. If you're a majority locally owned and operated business, you're welcome to apply. We verify local ownership as part of our application process.
We are unable to onboard cannabis or hemp businesses due to federal restrictions and agreements with our banking and payment processing partners. Businesses where alcohol sales are the primary offering are also not listed, as a values-based decision. All vendors must comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Typically 1–2 business days. During busy periods, it may take a bit longer, and we'll let you know if that's the case.
After approval, you'll get access to your Vendor Dashboard. You'll add products, write descriptions, set pricing, and configure fulfillment options.
High-quality photos make a significant difference in sales. If you already have good product photos, upload those directly.
Yes. You can upload products via CSV bulk import if you have a large catalog. Detailed instructions are available in your dashboard.
Yes. Your storefront can include products across multiple categories as long as they're all products you produce or sell as a local vendor.
You set your own prices. Local Living Project does not set prices for vendors.
You'll receive a push notification immediately when a new order is placed. You can also see all incoming, active, and completed orders in your dashboard in real time.
You can update inventory counts in your dashboard in real time. You can also mark items as out of stock or temporarily disable listings.
Contact the customer as soon as possible through the dashboard's communication tools, and process the cancellation through the dashboard. Orders cancelled before fulfillment do not incur commission charges.
Yes. Reviews come from verified customers who have completed an order.
No. Delivery is optional. You can offer pickup only, pickup + delivery, or pickup + shipping — it's up to you, and you can change these settings at any time.
No. If you enable delivery, customers place an order, you prepare it, and a driver from our third-party delivery network picks it up and handles delivery. You are not responsible for managing drivers, setting routes, or handling logistics.
Local Living Project integrates with a third-party delivery service. The delivery fee is charged directly to the customer at checkout. LLP does not mark up delivery fees or earn revenue on delivery — it is a direct pass-through.
Yes, if your products are appropriate for shipping. You configure shipping options in your dashboard; shipping fees are set by you and shown at checkout.
Vendor payouts are processed every two weeks via Stripe Connect direct deposit — net order total (gross minus commission) straight to the bank account on file.
During onboarding, you'll connect your bank account through Stripe Connect. It typically takes a few minutes to set up and verify.
Yes. Your dashboard shows the current payout period's earnings, your pending balance, and your full payout history.
Commission is calculated on the total order value, excluding delivery fees (which pass through to the delivery service). So if a customer orders $40 of your products and adds $8 delivery, commission applies to the $40 product total only.
Refund requests go through customer support. If a refund is issued, the commission for that order is reversed — you are not charged commission on refunded orders.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time through your dashboard. Your reduced 8% commission rate and priority placement take effect at the start of your next billing period.
Purchase Featured Placement for $33/week directly from your dashboard. No minimum commitment — buy one week, try it, and decide from there.
Local Living Plus becomes available in December 2026. All vendors who sign up before then are on the Standard Plan. We'll notify you when Plus launches.
