LOCAL LIVING PROJECT
LOCAL LIVING PROJECT
Yes. Downloading the app, creating an account, and browsing vendors is always free. A small service fee (4%, min $0.99) is added when you place an order.
We are currently live in Central & Southern OR. We're expanding — learn about our Community Partner program if you'd like to see us come to your town.
When it is released which should be sometime in June, Search "Local Living Project" in the Apple App Store or Google Play, or visit locallivingproject.com for direct download links.
You can browse vendor listings from the app without an account, but you'll need to create a free account to place orders.
Local food producers and farms, artisan makers and craftspeople, and local service providers — all in one app. Fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, beverages, jewelry, pottery, candles, clothing, home goods, art, tutors, photographers, wellness practitioners, landscapers, and more.
Every vendor is verified to be locally owned and operated before being approved. We check this during the application process.
Cannabis and hemp businesses are not onboarded due to federal payment processing restrictions. Businesses where alcohol is the primary offering are also not listed (a values-based decision). All other local businesses are welcome to apply.

Yes — and this is one of our favorite features. Add items from multiple different local vendors into a single cart and check out once. One payment. One confirmation. Multiple local businesses supported.
Options vary by vendor. Most vendors offer pickup. Some also offer local delivery and/or shipping. Available options are shown on each vendor's listing and at checkout.
When you select pickup, you'll coordinate directly with the vendor (through the app) about when and where to pick up. Pickup is always free.
Delivery is handled by our third-party delivery network — not the vendor. A driver picks up your prepared order and brings it to you. A delivery fee set by the delivery service is shown at checkout.
Some vendors offer shipping for non-perishable items. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are set by the vendor and shown at checkout.
A service fee of 4% (min $0.99) on each order, shown clearly before you confirm. Delivery fees (if chosen) are shown separately. The vendor's listed prices are the prices you pay — we don't mark up products.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and EBT/SNAP at will be offered soon at participating vendors.

Contact us at support@locallivingproject.com or through in-app support. We'll work with you and the vendor to resolve the issue.
Cancellation is possible if the vendor hasn't yet started preparing. Contact us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility depends on preparation stage.
Every time you make a purchase, the app shows an estimate of how much of your spending is staying in the local economy — a real-time reminder that where you spend your money matters.
It uses research on local spending multipliers: 45–68¢ of every dollar at a local independent stays in the community vs. 13–35¢ at national chains. Your cumulative local impact is based on your order history.
We use your data to operate the platform — processing orders, improving your experience, and sending relevant notifications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Full privacy policy at locallivingproject.com/privacy.
